September completion in sight for 18-storey Fifty5ive

Fifty5ive topped out

Salboy, the Manchester property developer, said its 18-storey residential scheme in Salford, Fifty5ive, is on course for a September completion following a topping out ceremony at the site.

Fifty5ive is being built by Domis.

Designed by Jon Matthews Architects, it will provide 220 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes in three linked buildings with resident amenities including south facing roof terraces.

Fifty5ive sits opposite the award Local Blackfriars development, also by Salboy and JMA, within the characterful Greengate neighbourhood.

Salboy head of marketing, Ben Ashcroft, said: “We know from the huge success of Local Blackfriars that this is an ideal location, offering larger living spaces, a short walk from the main shopping and eating districts of Exchange Square.

“Like at Local Blackfriars we have included lots of resident amenities in the double height ground floor which include a gym, residents’ lounge and large lobby. The roof terraces are orientated to catch as much light and sun as possible and will be a proper space for residents to relax.”

Apartments are priced from £230,000 for a two-bedroom apartment to £423,000 for a three-bedroom duplex.

A show apartment is now open on the first floor of Fifty5ive.
