N Brown Group’s JD Williams is bolstering its offering with third-party brands.

From next month it will be adding Mango, Phase Eight, and Whistles as part of the group’s strategy to expand and improve its brand and product proposition.

JD Williams, which sells womenswear and homeware products, also offers third-party products from French Connection, Levi’s, Monsoon and Adidas alongside it’s own range.

Sarah Welsh, CEO of Retail at N Brown, said: “Our Clothing and Footwear range is now back in growth, particularly with consumers rekindling their appetite for occasionwear as restrictions eased.

“We’re really pleased with the performance of our Womenswear third-party brands in the latest period and see lots of opportunity in this area.”

She added: “The addition of new, aspirational third-party brands to our offering not only broadens the appeal to both new and existing customers but also helps us to build the JD Williams “emporium of discovery” brand identity.

“Mango, Phase Eight and Whistles are all brands that align well with the overall JD Williams identity and we are certain that our customers will love these new additions this Spring.”

The new additions come after the online fashion group behind the likes of Jacamo and Simply Be recently reported its full-year profits are set to be at the lower end of its previous guidance.

Manchester-headquartered N Brown reported its adjusted EBITDA for its current financial year is expected to be between £93m and £96m “reflecting the online market conditions and a slightly higher level of project spend now being expensed rather than capitalised”.

However, the board said it “remains confident” in delivering sustainable profitable growth in the medium-term.
