The Citation Group snaps up DBS checking services company
Health and safety advisers, The Citation Group, has acquired a family-owned DBS checking service provider uCheck.
The latest deal marks the group’s sixth acquisition since taking investment from HgCapital and KKR in September 2020 and sees the company strengthen it services within the compliance, HR, and health and safety sectors.
Formed in 2002 by Mike and Julie Griffiths, Exeter-based uCheck is one of the largest providers of DBS checking services in the UK and gives The Citation Group a scalable platform to compete in the growing screening and verification market.
uCheck’s services are underpinned by cloud-based, intuitive software that offers multiple API options to integrate with numerous HR systems.
