Manchester’s Ducie House welcomes raft of tenants

Five new tenants have signed up to Ducie House in Manchester’s Piccadilly Basin.

The companies have taken space totally more than 6,000 sq ft in the Edwardian building which has undegone a major refurbishment.

Healthcare recruitment specialists Leaders in Care have leased 3,768 sq ft of office space to accommodate their growth.

Boutique bowling business Lane 7 has completed on 765 sq ft to house its marketing and operations teams, with North West investor and property developer Harlex completing on 508 sq ft.

The Self Space, a growing mental health therapy business, has taken 344 sq ft of accommodation at Ducie House.

KOM, an original music agency for film, tv and advertising has leased 344 sq ft of space.

National recruitment agency based in Manchester, HTE Recruitment has taken 304 sq ft of office space to accommodate its growing team.

Originally a petticoat factory, Ducie House has continually evolved, with famous Manchester bands including Simply Red, 808 State, ANS, Ask Developments and Ear to the Ground making appearances in the venue during its time as a hub for the city’s music scene in the 1990s.

A transformational refurbishment programme created a new, contemporary reception entrance; reconfigured suites, as well as flexible office space ranging from 147 sq ft to over 11,500 sq ft.
