PR agency launches sister business

A Manchester PR agency is launching a new division which will specialise in retail and the built environment.

Down at the Social (DATS) says retail, marketing and placemaking consultancy Social Rebuild will advise clients in the sector on how to thrive.

Founding partner of Social Rebuild with DATS MD Daisy Whitehouse is retail specialist and former DATS client John Magee.

He has more than 20 years experience in retail and property and asset management including roles at Tesco and Debenhams.

He has managed shopping centres in Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cheshire for national property managers Realm and Savills and has worked with local authorities and key partners such as chambers of trade and BIDs, including Hull BID where he was a director.

Magee is a specialist in business planning, commercial performance analysis and using knowledge and data to drive results.

He said: “I have a huge amount of experience working in all sorts of retail environments alongside tenants, suppliers, management companies and owners and it made sense to join forces with Daisy and the team to combine this service with really good marketing solutions.

Social Rebuild has already delivered a campaign for national luxury outdoor furniture retailer Moda Furnishings.
