Manchester-based integrated communications agency SLG has made three key appointments to expand its team.

SLG has strengthened three aspects of the business by bringing a new account executive and creative designer following the recent appointment of a digital services director.

Niki Lui, account executive, previously worked for an online media company in Hong Kong working on social media and advertising for lifestyle and beauty brands.

Creative designer Michael Long comes to SLG from McCann Health where he created presentations for some of largest pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Novartis.

Digital services director, Tino Triste, has more than 17 years of experience in channel planning, advertising and marketing. He has worked with agencies and businesses nationwide. He will be responsible for providing strategy and direction to SLG’s digital services and key clients.

Tino said: “I am excited to join the team and to be able to shape changes that will ensure SLG continues to thrive.”

Cheshire-based Rowlinsons Solicitors has made two senior appointments in newly created roles as it looks to grow the practice and expand its in-house management expertise.

Michelle Fisher has joined the property department as conveyancing manager. Michelle brings with her more than 25 years of experience in residential property, having qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and was most recently the conveyancing services manager at a regional law firm. The role will see Michelle manage the day-to-day operations of Rowlinsons’ residential property team based in Sutton Weaver.

Tom Parkinson director and head of property, said: “We are thrilled to have Michelle on board as she brings with her a high level of expertise in running a large conveyancing team and her experience means she has already hit the ground running. She is now the initial point of contact for any technical queries within the team and will also have a remit to look at where operational efficiency and client service can be improved throughout the conveyancing process.”

He added: “This change in structure allows me to focus on the longer-term strategic direction of the department and to take a more proactive role in business development including my involvement with the Conveyancing Association, which represents some of the largest property firms in England and Wales. Meanwhile, Haydn Roberts has joined as HR and practice manager and will have a wide range of responsibilities from all aspects of recruitment through to health and safety compliance. Haydn has studied CIPD Level 7 and is currently working towards his Chartered Status.

Managing director, Andrew Graves, said: “Haydn brings with him a new level of expertise on human resource management which will prove highly beneficial to the firm as we move forward. In addition to his CIPD qualifications, Haydn also studied the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Chester so he is a great fit for our business and is already putting in place new processes and procedures that are proving to be effective.”

Limitless Public Relations has extended its reach in Europe with Germany-based PR specialist Christiane Tupac-Yupanqui joining the Blackburn and Preston-based agency as an overseas associate.

Christiane’s first project for the specialist public relations agency will be to provide PR support for client Northern Industrial, which has recently launched a new site in Germany.

With 20 years’ PR experience, Christiane specialises in the motion, drives and automation sectors. A trained translator, she provides trade PR and online media relations in Germany and a number of other non-English speaking countries around the world.

The Momentum Group has appointed Sarah Carron to join its property management division as board director. Sarah will drive the property management and consultancy business’s continued growth and support Momentum Group’s existing client instructions.

The Momentum Group provides comprehensive high quality advisory, construction, management, and maintenance solutions to its clients. The group has seen significant growth since its inception nearly five years ago, supporting property investors, landlords and occupiers.

Sarah Carron, a RICS Chartered Surveyor, has supported and worked with The Momentum Group since its inception on a freelance basis. She has more than 30 years’ property management experience, much of which has been in the management of shopping centres, retail, and mixed-use schemes. She has worked on Battersea Power Station, Kings Cross, Festival Place Basingstoke, and Liverpool One to name a few.

Momentum Group co-founder and director, Chris Bliss, welcomed Sarah, saying: “Her experience, knowledge of the sector and tenacity are just what we need to grow the business further. Our business has grown threefold since inception, and we intend to maintain that momentum as we look to future growth and job creation.”

Luna Investment Management has appointed Peter Stiles as investment director.

Peter boasts a 37-year career within investment management and will play a key role in shaping and implementing Luna’s investment management proposition. In addition to his client responsibilities, Peter will also be a member of the Luna Investment Committee and the management team.

Despite having launched just as the pandemic hit in 2020, Luna has exceeded its expectations in both the investment team it has assembled and the client investments it has been entrusted to manage.

Manchester-based customer acquisition specialists for the legal sector, mmadigital, has welcomed two new senior hires as part of its ongoing recruitment drive.

Rachel Cullen has joined as head of paid search and Anthony Hough has been appointed as salesforce developer as the business continues to extend its digital and tech capabilities and further enhance its customer experience to align with the company’s growth trajectory.

Rachel Cullen brings extensive PPC expertise to mmadigital having previously held the positions of paid media manager and performance optimisation manager with sports fashion retailer JD Sports. Through her campaign leadership, the team saw considerable YOY uplifts each year for the past five years.

In her new role, Cullen will be responsible for the acquisition and retention of customers through paid search and other performance channels for mmadigital’s consumer brands. She will work alongside the wider digital marketing team including organic search, social, and affiliates, to maximise the impact of campaigns for the company’s law firm client base.

Anthony Hough has a proven track record of implementing CRM and API systems within the business services, software and tech sectors, most recently working with organisations such as Payroc and Peninsula.

Hough will lead the development and customisation of salesforce from a technical and client growth perspective, and will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of reporting suites. He will work closely with business leads across tech, compliance and marketing to analyse, design and deploy cross-functional scalable CRM solutions to meet rapidly growing business requirements and the expectations of internal and external users.
