Recruiter expands UK presence with acquisition

A Merseyside construction recruitment company has acquired a firm in Kent as it looks to grow its presence in key UK markets following the acquisition of

AMB Recruitment Group, which is headquartered in Runcorn, has bought Coley Johnson, a specialist building service recruitment agency, for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2008, CJ is a specialist in building service recruitment market with a strong track record in the engineering sector, placing qualified tradespeople into permanent and temporary positions across the UK.

AMB Recruitment has a network of 150 associates providing permanent and temporary staffing solutions for clients within the construction industry nationwide.

Its current client base includes organisations involved in building hospitals, schools and colleges, running essential power stations, and maintaining road and highways infrastructure across the UK.
