Arch.law, a ‘digital law firm’ founded by former DWF boss Andrew Leaitherland, has  announced a strategic investment in a platform connecting start-ups, investors and advisors.

The investment will also see arch.law partner with Connectd as it continues to deliver on its mission ‘to democratise access to early-stage investment and talent, connecting start-ups with investors and advisors through smart matching technology.’

This most recent round of investment for Connectd also launches two new tools.

In addition to creating a ‘ground-breaking intelligent dashboard’ which enables investors to have an aggregated view and real time insights into their entire portfolio, Connectd is also partnering with arch.law and Danish legaltech firm Contractbook to launch ConnectdLegal.

ConnectdLegal  will help members establish their essential legal documentation without incurring expensive fees.

Members will be able to easily access documents including SEIS/EIS registration, advisory agreements for NEDs and board advisors, NDAs, and employment contracts.

Not only will Connectd’s founder community be able to use ConnectdLegal, but advisors and investors will be able to share the tool with their portfolio companies.

arch.law provides ‘technology-led legal solutions’ to a wide range of businesses in the UK and Australia.

Operating on a distributed law firm model it was founded by former DWF Group CEO Andrew Leaitherland in 2021.

He said: “Our strategic investment in Connectd not only provides opportunities and pathways but also an innovative strategic partnership delivering cost effective legal solutions to start-ups, their investors and advisors.

“We’re delighted to collaborate and be working with Roei and his evolutionary technology led business.”

Roei Samuel, Connectd founder and CEO added: “I’m truly excited to see how ConnectdLegal can reduce friction within the startup ecosystem and to see our partnership with arch.law grow.

“We are both pushing to innovate within the legal sector and having someone with Andrew’s legal knowledge and experience involved with Connectd is a huge honour for us.”
