Join Clare Roberts, CEO of fast expanding Kids Planet Day Nurseries for our next Women in Business Networking Lunch.
Clare, who received an OBE this year for services to education, established Kids Planet back in 2008 after struggling to find childcare in the area following the birth of her first daughter.
She quit her job in the pharmaceutical industry and launched Kids Planet alongside her father John Hoban, who had previously run and sold a successful nursery chain, and sister Lucy Kaczmarska. The business began with two nurseries in Warrington and Widnes.
Nearly 15 years on, the private equity backed business now has more than 130 sites across the UK – caring for thousands of children nationwide.
