Park Square campus achieves another major letting following AA move

Park Square

Orbit Developments has secured a key letting with the AA, for 11,765 sq ft of office space at its Park Square campus.

The letting follows that of UK Biobank which took up the same amount of space late last year, meaning Park Square has let the most amount of office space in South Manchester over the past 12 months.

Following investment from Orbit, the out-of-town scheme at Park Square has been updated to create a campus environment with wellness at its heart.

The development provides a wealth of quality amenities for businesses and their employees, including a Peloton studio, ample green space for teambuilding or relaxation, conferencing facilities, an on-site café and meeting tepees.

Park Square also offers space to play, with significant outdoor spaces equipped with table tennis, boules and a nine hole golf putting course.

Rhys Owen, leasing director of Cheshire-based Orbit Developments, said: “Following recent investment, Park Square has been repositioned to meet the changing needs and expectations of business from their work spaces.

“Our aim was to create a workspace with a campus feel that employees want to spend time in, supporting customers in the recruitment and retention of staff. It has certainly gone down well with our existing customers, and the AA.”

The AA was advised by Avison Young and Orbit Developments by Cushman and Wakefield/Canning O’Neil.
