Property Alliance Group toasts 10-year Blackpool letting with drinks group
Manchester-based Property Alliance Group has agreed a 32,166 sq ft industrial letting in Blackpool.
Drinks manufacturer, Simpsons Beverages, has signed a 10-year lease for the unit, which is located adjacent to Blackpool Retail Park and to the south of the town centre, off Squires Gate Lane.
Acquired by Alliance for £1.3m in January 2022, the property comprises a ground floor warehouse with offices above. Following a £250,000 refurbishment, the building has been upgraded internally and externally.
Caleb Simpson, managing director of Simpsons Beverages, said. “We are really excited about securing the new premises, which will operate in conjunction with our current facility. Not only will it enable us to increase our production capacity and efficiency, but help us to better serve our customers and provide an improved working environment for our fantastic staff.”
Constantine Thanopoulos, development surveyor for Alliance, said: “This property was our first acquisition in Blackpool and is in a thriving area forming part of the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone.
“Our investment has significantly improved the warehouse which, coupled with the property’s great location, provides an ideal space to support Simpsons Beverages and its growth plans.”
Duxburys Commercial advised Alliance on the letting.
The deal is the third secured in Lancashire by Alliance in recent weeks.
It follows two new leases at Northgate Business Park on the White Lund Industrial Estate in Morecambe, which is now fully let.
SCS Logistics has signed a 10-year lease for a 26,500 sq ft industrial unit and Advanced Bacterial Sciences (ABS) has let all 20,000 sq ft of office space on a 10-year lease. The site was also refurbished and reconfigured by Alliance.
