Developer gets green light for redevelopment of former riding school site

Developer PH Homes has secured planning permission to redevelop the former riding school site in Mobberley, Cheshire.

Eleven councillors voted in favour of the plans at a meeting of Cheshire East’s Northern Planning Committee, approving plans for family homes in the village.

The derelict equestrian buildings on the 1.6 hectare site will be demolished and replaced.

The plans include 11 bespoke three,four and five bedroom properties.

Phil Hughes, managing director of PH Homes, said: “We’re delighted with the decision to approve our plans. We feel this is an outstanding opportunity to redevelop an under-utilised site, and we believe the delightful rural enclave we’re creating in Mobberley will be one of our most exciting developments yet.”
