Telecoms group strikes partnership aimed at two million business premises
Salford-based TalkTalk Business has formed a strategic partnership with Freedom Fibre to widen its accessibility of affordable, ultrafast full fibre internet across the North West business community.
Freedom Fibre is a wholesale alt-net provider which aims to deliver the UK’s fastest and most reliable gigabit capable broadband.
The provider will deliver its gigabit symmetric Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Ethernet services to more than two million premises in the North West, in collaboration with TalkTalk.
The FTTP offering uses fibreoptic technology that is delivered straight to any premises, providing reliability and unrivalled speed.
It supports the Government’s target of having Gigabit broadband available nationwide by 2030.
The partnership follows an increase in demand for TalkTalk Business’s full fibre offering following a rapid period of digital transformation for businesses.
It will focus on boosting connectivity by delivering speeds of up to 1Gb/s, fully symmetric service and unlimited usage, enabling organisations to benefit from the fastest and most cost-efficient fibre connection available to them.
TalkTalk Business is one of the UK’s fastest-growing business to business telecoms providers.
