Appointments: Weightmans; GL Hearn
LAW firm Weightmans has boosted its Liverpool employment team with the appointment of solicitor Jessica Mistry.
She qualified in September 2009 and has joined from Manchester firm JMW.
Weightmans says its employment team is one of the largest in the country with nearly 100 lawyers.

That is why we continue to develop our range of employment law services and invite the best lawyers to join us so that we can meet the needs of large and small clients in both the private and public sector.”

PROPERTY consultancy GL Hearn has appointed strategic marketing, communications and branding consultant, Mark Allatt, as a non-executive board member.
Allatt has previously worked for a range of high profile companies such as GVA, KPMG and Deloitte before setting up his own independent consultancy.
Brian Sloggett, managing director at GL Hearn, said: “The GL Hearn board directors recognised the need for a strong leader, experienced in driving forward marketing strategies for businesses experiencing change.
In his spare time Allatt is chairman of The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, the organisation behind the building of the famous new steam locomotive Tornado.
