Commercial laundry to set up in Knutsford following deal for 20-year lease

A 20-year lease has been agreed on a 25,000 sq ft unit in Knutsford to operate as a commercial laundry.

Northwood Urban Logistics agreed the deal on Unit 9 Novus Park, with Elis UK. Northwood was advised by JLL.

Three of the four units owned by Northwood have now been let, which leaves Unit 2 as the last one remaining. This new 23,070 sq ft detached self-contained property benefits from 10m eaves, secure yard and car parking, fully fitted offices, EV charge points and employs the latest environmentally-friendly technologies to reduce the costs of occupation.

The new-build warehouse sits within the recent extension to Parkgate Industrial Estate and is less than 1.5 miles from the M6 and the recently opened A556 link road, which has significantly improved the location’s accessibility.

Elis will join Sytner and SpectrumX at Novus, who have also taken space at the industrial park. Other major occupiers on Parkgate Industrial Estate include Royal Mail, Oliver Valves and Howdens.
