Get that winning feeling – medium sized businesses welcome to apply to our awards

Lancashire-headquartered ecommerce logistics and tech company, Fulfilmentcrowd, has been on a strong growth trajectory in recent years.

The Chorley company, which specialises in accessible and cost-effective logistics services for fast-growing eCommerce retailers, has seen phenomenal success over the past 24 months as it aims to make fulfilment easy by simplifying its customer’s experience, and providing retailers with total control and oversight using the fulfilmentcrowd app.

With centres across the UK, EU and the US, the family firm led by managing director Lee Thompson has continued to disrupt the market.

Last year, the company beat stiff competition from AMS Accountants Group,  Applied Nutrition, Inicio Group and VetPlus to be crowned winner in the Medium Sized Business of the Year category at the TheBusinessDesk.com’s annual business awards.

Judges were impressed by fulfilmentcrowd’s “rapid growth from the pandemic” commenting that it was “a great company, staffed by great people.”

TheBusinessDesk.com has officially launched this year’s North West Business of the Year Awards, and we want to hear from medium size businesses across the region.

If you’re a business that has achieved sustained growth, disrupting your market and/or entering new markets, investing in the business, and showing strong employee engagement, then we want to hear from you.

This year’s awards will be bigger and better and is backed by headline sponsors CMS, LDC, PwC, RBC Brewin Dolphin, and Robert Walters.

The Medium Business of the Year Category is also being sponsored by LDC.

Dale Alderson, Partner and Head of LDC in the North West, said: “The North West is home to a diverse range of businesses, and this is an excellent opportunity to celebrate their success.

“The award will recognise the impact that one standout company has had on the region, be that by creating employment opportunities and contributing to its local community or innovating to drive growth and productivity.

“Every growth journey is different, and we know there are many brilliant businesses out there – so it’s not going to be an easy choice – but we can’t wait to hear from them.”
