Property players invited to enter North West Business of the Year Awards

When it comes to the North West property market, development across the region continues to take shape.

Plans for a new HQ for JD Sports in Bury were approved recently while in Stockport the local council and Muse have come together to release the latest phase of Stockport Exchange which is on track to complete construction in late summer this year.

The latest range of public consultation for part of Victoria North’s emerging Red Bank neighbourhood has been launched by Far East Consortium (FEC) and in Merseyside proposals to convert an iconic Liverpool retail site into 199 new apartments were approved by Liverpool City Council planning committee.

These developments signal confidence in the region’s property market where demand for good quality housing, new neighbourhoods, and Grade A office space remains strong.

The region’s property sector will be celebrated at this year’s North West Business of The Year Awards.

There are 15 categories to enter including the Property Business of the Year category.

This award recognises the strength and importance of the property sector and will go to the business which has had a successful year and can show how its work has positively impacted the regional economy.

Last year’s award went to property and investment company MEPC. The group is delivering the 20-acre NOMA masterplan which will act as the northern gateway to Manchester city centre.

Finalists in the category also included Buttress, RECOM Solutions, Scarborough Group International, and U+I.
