Two popular Lake District hotels have been brought to the market, with a valuation of more than £3.35m for both properties.

The property was fully refurbished in 2018 and comprises 40 individual bedrooms, two bars and a restaurant, extensive wedding and event facilities, conservatory, outdoor garden and large car park.

It also has treatment rooms which are used to offer a range of massage treatments in partnership with The Little Calm Company. The hotel was nominated for the ‘Best Cumbrian Wedding Venue’ for 2023 and was a finalist for 2022.

The hotel is set within a large 19-acre site just outside the centre of Dalton-in-Furness and benefits from National Trust Estuary and countryside surroundings. Offers are invited over £1.85m.

The Townhouse is a boutique hotel arranged over basement and two upper floors.

The property is located in the centre of Barrow-In-Furness on Dalton Road.

It was refurbished in 2018 and comprises 13 en-suite bedrooms, bar and restaurant, private dining facilities, meeting and event space and a car park nearby available on separate negotiation. Barrow-in-Furness train station is located just a five minute walk from the hotel. Offers are invited over £1.5m.

Tom Cunningham, director in the hotel capital markets team at Savills Manchester, said: “These are excellent hotels which have recently been refurbished to a high standard and brought to the market as the owner is retiring.

“We expect strong demand for these high quality and profitable hotel assets which are close to tourist attractions and benefit from strong corporate trade.”
