US business swoops in acquisition deal for spare parts group Northern Industrial

Blackburn-based industrial automation spare parts and repair supplier, Northern Industrial, has been snapped up by a US firm, for an undisclosed sum.

Radwell International is a global supplier of surplus and remanufactured industrial control systems.

Effective from April 1, 2023, Northern Industrial joins Radwell International in a move designed to bring increased efficiency, better value, and the ability to adapt and scale the combined offering to meet the global purchasing needs of customers worldwide.

General manager of Europe, David Lenehan, said: “After over 40 years of growth, Northern Industrial is delighted to become part of Radwell.

“Already employing over 2,000 people in 15 locations, Radwell is a global force to be reckoned with, whose services, ethics and culture are in line with everything we have built here at Northern Industrial, and our people can look forward to a bright future as part of the Radwell family.”
