Electrical supplier lights up growth plans with HQ move

Eurosonic Group (ESG), a retail supplier of homeware and electrical appliances, has moved to a new head office and purpose built showroom in Trafford Park.

The company has made the move to Brightgate House on Brightgate Way to accommodate 50 staff as well as house a new extensive showroom which showcases ESG’s key household brand name ranges including Daewoo Electricals, The Hairy Bikers Kitchenware, ProChef and Carnaby.

John Knight, MD at ESG, said: “The company has grown significantly over the past 10 years with our turnover increasing to over £50m per year and we had outgrown our head office in the centre of Manchester. This new location is ideally situated for us to welcome retailers from across the UK and Europe and we have invested heavily in a purpose built showroom that will enable us to show new products throughout the year.”

In addition to the move, ESG has also increased its brand portfolio in recent months with key licensed ranges including Jane’s Patisserie.

Knight added: “It’s a really exciting time for us as the move has coincided with new licensed ranges and our team has been working on some unique new product developments in the electrical and housewares which will be announced in the coming weeks.”
