Smart set of results for MPAAS as it looks to recruit 100 staff

Haydock-based MPAAS has announced revenue growth and a major recruitment drive in only its third year of operation.

Revenues at the smart meter installation and maintenance operator have grown 315% year on year, from £1.1m for FY21 to £3.47m for FY22.

Revenue growth this financial year is currently on target, with an aim of increasing from £3.47m to £22.5m, representing 650% growth within the year.

As a result of its accelerated growth, the firm is immediately looking to recruit another 100 engineers, bringing its total headcount to 365 and representing a 317% increase since April 2022. This number is expected to grow to up to 500 employees within the next two to three years.

Jordan Benbow, CEO at MPAAS, said: “Since our launch in March 2020, we’ve experienced incredible growth, and today’s financial figures and recruitment drive illustrate just how far we’ve come in such a short space of time.

“With UK energy suppliers under increasing pressure to ramp up their smart metering roll out, the model we have created has become ever more important, with our tech-led solution and customer centric approach offering a new way of doing things.

“In line with this demand, our growth ambitions remain high but to achieve them, we need highly skilled engineers able to deliver the standard and quality we’ve become known for. As well as running our own training programme, we are actively looking to bolster our field team both regionally and nationally. This is a really exciting time for MPAAS, and the industry as a whole, so a great time to join us.”
