Nominations open for 2023 Props Awards

The Variety Club have opened nominations for the North West PROPS Awards! 

TheBusinessDesk.com is media partner for the event which will celebrate the outstanding achievements of the property industry in the North West, whilst raising vital funds for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people in the region.

There are categories spanning different specialisms within the property industry,  including Rising Star Award, Funder Award, and Agent Award. 

The Variety North West PROPS will also include unique awards such as the Property for Purpose Award, which aims to showcase a project which is charity based in nature and is beneficial to its stakeholders.

The event will take place at the Hilton Hotel Deansgate Manchester on 30 November 2023.

Backing for the awards has seen some of the biggest names in property who are pledging their time and support for the cause. Board members already include:  George Downing, Chairman of the Downing Group; Mark Hawthorn, CEO for Landmark Group; Richard Ainscough, Group CEO and Chairman for Network Space; Mark Bailey, Managing Director for Landwood Group; Paul Reeves, Managing Director for Kroll.

Rewarding a development project for its positive impact on its surrounding community, delivered with more than just profit in mind.

Agent of the Year: 

An award to recognise an agent making a difference in the commercial property market, regardless of their sector or specialism.

Professional Advisor of the Year:

An award to recognise a professional advisor (either a company or an individual, of any discipline) for outstanding contribution in the successful delivery, operation or transaction of commercial property.

Rising Star Award:

The rising star of the year award celebrates a young individual making a big impact in the industry and/or demonstrating potential to become a future leader.

Funder of the Year:

The award recognises the important role that funders have in supporting the many facets of the property cycle, from asset purchase through to development funding and beyond.

Sustainability Award:

This award seeks to recognise a development project that demonstrates an outstanding commitment to sustainability. Nominations are sought for projects that prioritise environmental sustainability, at its core and beyond.

Innovation of the Year:

This award is to recognise thinking differently, be it in concept, design, process or execution in the commercial property industry within the North West.
