Liverpool joins Flip Out family with latest adventure park opening
A new indoor adventure park opens in Liverpool this Saturday (July 29).
Flip Out, which says it is the fastest-growing family entertainment centre globally, is poised to open in the Clayton Square Shopping Centre in Great Charlotte Street.
The third new Flip Out indoor adventure park to open this year, Flip Out Liverpool will offer families a range of attractions, including The Floor is Fire. The Liverpool adventure park will be the first one in the UK to offer this activity.
The Floor is Fire will pit families and friends against each other as they navigate an obstacle course, clambering on top of, and moving between, objects above the ‘lava’ with the goal of reaching the exit without falling in.
Another attraction is Laser Quest, which the group claims is the best laser tag experience in the UK. Teams are pitched against each other in the space-themed arena made up of labyrinths, catwalks and mazes, with special effects, music and lights.
Flip Out will also have a large Cannon Blast Arena which will see teams battle against each other by firing sponge ball cannons at anyone who runs the gauntlet in the ball collection zone. The ever-popular Ninja tag will also be part of Flip Out Liverpool’s offering.
There is also an interactive technology-infused football pitch, as well as more traditional pastimes of roller skating, bumper cars and soft play.

From bumper cars to the Floor is Fire, the range of activities will provide kids of all ages with hours of fun – and we open just in time for the summer holidays.”
The first Flip Out park in the UK opened in 2015 in Stoke, and there are now 29 parks across the UK with plans to open more this year as well as diversify the brand.
Other locations include Aintree, Blackburn, Chester, Manchester, Preston and Rochdale.
