Worldwide wish list as Manchester hotel brand targets expansion
Manchester property company Leven is targeting global locations for expansion after the success of its first lifestyle hotel in the city.
The Leven brand is a joint venture between Manchester-born entrepreneurs, brothers Joshua and Ben Senior of Branco Capital, and industry innovators Wellbrook Hospitality.
Its Manchester site is located in the heart of the Village neighbourhood, and is planned to be the first in a series of hotels. The brand’s lifestyle includes co-working, co-living and retail, with a range of popular merchandise already commissioned for the Manchester property.
Shanthan Balakrishnan, co-founder, Leven and principal, Wellbrook Hospitality, said: “Having enjoyed the resounding success of our inaugural venture in Manchester, the Leven brand is ready to bring its blend of hospitality experiences to new cities.
“With our roots now deeply embedded in Manchester’s vibrant Village neighbourhood, we are actively exploring the key cities on our expansion wish list. Our mission is to redefine hospitality, one city at a time.”

The wish-list represents some of the key cities that the brand is considering. Sites of interest include iconic gateway cities and traveller favourites, locations with a strong food and cocktail culture, creative hubs with thriving work-from-home communities and vibrant city centre locations and peripheral neighbourhoods.
