First phase of Cumbria holiday park’s redevelopment complete

Holgates Beetham Holiday Park has completed the first phase of its new development in Cumbria, featuring 20 new holiday home plots with views of the park’s picturesque countryside surroundings and meadow walk.

This milestone highlights renewed investment in the park, which has been under family-owned holiday park operator Holgates since June 2022.

Since the acquisition of Holgates Beetham Holiday Park last year, much of the existing team, alongside some new faces, have been dedicated to preserving the park’s natural beauty and high standards.

Managing director and owner, Michael Holgate, said: “It is a very exciting time for Beetham. Following the acquisition last year, making it the 10th holiday park in our group, we’re delighted to be welcoming the first owners onto our new development plots facing the meadow walk.

“What makes this even more special is that the planning permission for the development was in place prior to the park joining our group, so the development has been a long time in the making.”

The company said the completion of the first four plots is just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey for the park, looking ahead to completing the remaining 16 plots, including some larger lodge plots into 2024
