Manchester property agency expands with Stockport opening

Reside, the Manchester property agency, has expanded into Stockport.

The office will open next month in new offices on St Petersgate, being developed by One Heritage.

Reside founder and managing director, Anthony Stankard, said: “We are increasingly working with clients outside of the city core and opening an office in Stockport was a natural expansion.

“The town has the same energy and vibrant atmosphere with lots of development taking place and we are excited to bring our unique approach to real estate to this community.”

In Manchester the Reside team numbers 21 and initially three further colleagues will be working in Stockport.

Since launching a decade ago the company has worked on many of Manchester’s major residential schemes including Deansgate Square, No1 Old Trafford and Murrays Mills.

They are advisors and agents for the Manchester Life portfolio spanning Ancoats and New Islington and offer full service lettings and management for build to rent schemes such as Broadside.

The new Stockport office will occupy the entire retail space of a former office building which is being converted to residential apartments.

Anthony said: “It’s a very appropriate setting. I went to look at the apartments out of professional interest and One Heritage have done a great job.

“The ground floor retail was under construction so I asked for who to contact and secured the space. Sometimes you just have to follow your instincts and I am delighted to say that we are now agents for some of the best apartments in Stockport.”
