First letting agreed at Total Park Middlewich

A 26,000 sq ft letting has been announced at a new industrial scheme in Middlewich.
Total Developments said its first letting at its seven-unit industrial scheme is to Contour Showers.
The letting sees the company relocate from Winsford in Cheshire, where it occupied around 18,000 sq ft, to take 26,000 sq ft on a 15-year lease at £9 per sq ft.
Inputting into the design, Contour Showers has amended the layout to create a high specification unit providing modern manufacturing space, offices and a showroom.
Construction of the 156,000 sq ft scheme is currently under way with Pioneer Design and Build acting as main contractor.
The cladding is already in place on units 4,5, 6 and 7 and the steel works are being erected on unit 8.
Practical completion is due in quarter one of 2024 and the units are available on a leasehold and freehold basis, ranging in size from 15, 425 sq ft up to 34,972 sq ft.
Matt Pochin, director at Legat Owen, which represented Total Developments, said: “Total Park Middlewich is really starting to take shape.
“The scheme includes a range of USPs including large yards, extensive parking and an EPC rating A. We do not see any competition for this standard of scheme within a 20-mile radius.”
Contour Showers said: “As a specialist manufacturer and supplier of easy access bathroom adaptation shower solutions for elderly and less able people, it’s vital that we are able to showcase our products to our customers so that they can understand the benefits.
“Our new location at Total Park in Middlewich will provide our business with the space to do just that by creating a spacious show room at ground floor level which is accessible to all.”
Total Park in Middlewich is located three miles from junction 18 of the M6.
Contour Showers was unrepresented.
