Fintech firm on the move after deal for new office space

Fintech firm Conferma Pay, a provider of virtual payment technology, is relocating its HQ after sealing a lease for 15,000 sq ft at the recently-refurbished Ocean House, Towers, Manchester.
In what has been described as one of the biggest deals for South Manchester this year, it is moving from its existing site at Cheadle Royal to Towers. Colliers, CBRE, and Edwards & Co acted on behalf of Kennedy Wilson and Canning O’Neill advised Conferma Pay.
Towers comprises 10 grade A office buildings totalling 289,000 sq ft across 20 acres of parkland.
It’s located in Didsbury, six miles from Manchester city center, and just 10 minutes from Manchester Airport and is perfectly situated for commuting on foot, by bike, using public transport, or by car.
The site has recently launched a full programme of wellbeing-focused free events for its thriving tenant community, which has recently seen 1,500 staff sign up for the 80 events they’ve launched.
Andy Matthews, chief financial officer at Conferma said: “The decision to take space at Towers was based on the excellent specification and size of the office space, as well as the sense of community within the park and the excellent environment it will provide for our team. We’re very excited about the move here and the positive impact it will have on our business.”
Dominic Pozzoni, director, Colliers, and Towers leasing agent, said: “After a successful first half year, with the arrival of a number of new occupiers including Essity, NCC Education, I Love Cosmetics, Sitel Group, it is fantastic to have attracted Conferma Pay to Towers.
“Following the completion of a programme of sustainability-focused improvements, Towers continues to be a highly sought after office location that benefits from excellent amenities and a regular programme of on-site placemaking events throughout the year.”
James Dickinson, director at Canning O’Neill, who advised Conferma Pay, said: “This is one of the largest transactions in South Manchester this year and represents a significant commitment to the future of this thriving technology business.
“With the move now agreed, Conferma Pay is now undertaking a full fit-out with the aim of relocating to The Towers at the start of the new year.”
