Luxury housing scheme released, with properties starting at £3m each
A housing developer has released a luxury scheme in Altrincham offering homes priced at more than £3m each.
Altrincham-based Altin Homes is behind the £20m development which has attracted interest from as far as London.
Waterbank on Heybridge Lane in Prestbury offers six ultra-low energy properties.
The eco luxe scheme is the first generation of Altin Homes properties to boast tribrid heating systems. Pioneered by Altin Homes this trio of Vaillant aroTHERM air source heat pumps, Valliant gas boilers and solar panels combine to ensure these are among the most energy efficient, sustainable and smart luxury properties on the market.
Design director of Altin Homes, Yousef Mousavi, said: “Prestbury is renowned as one of the most idyllic villages in Cheshire and Waterbank has enabled us to showcase how ultra-modern homes can complement such historic settings.
“One of the properties has sold off plan to buyers from London, demonstrating the reputation Altin Homes has established for delivering properties that you simply cannot find elsewhere in the UK.
“We have hosted several private viewings for high profile members of the Cheshire community and a prime time property TV show has also filmed at Waterbank.”
The original designs for Waterbank were produced by Annabelle & Co architects and later revised by Calderpeel Architects and Barnes Walker landscape architects, creating modern homes with bold exterior expanses of timber and glass.
Reflecting current design trends, properties at Waterbank include two kitchens – a fully equipped one for entertaining and secondary concealed kitchen/bootility for food preparation and practical jobs.
Features of the 2½-storey, five-bedroom homes include dual aspect living spaces, expansive master bedroom suites with walk-in dressing rooms, balconies, loggias and luxury ensuites. Two of the properties have outdoor swimming pools and all include substantial detached garages with separate entries to storage/workshop spaces.

The scheme is being marketed through Gascoigne Halman’s Prestbury office with two properties sold and two currently under negotiations.
Altin Homes is well known for its luxury developments in south Manchester with one of their most recent projects, No.1 Hilltop in Hale marketed for sale with a £7m price tag. The developer’s next project will be the redevelopment of the seven-acre former ‘All in One’ garden centre site on London Road in Allostock.
