Matalan adds 10 new third-party fashion brands to range
Matalan, the Knowsley-based out-of-town discount retailer, has added 10 third-party fashion brands to its range.
The new brands are aimed at strengthening the group’s online proposition and builds on its growing roster of third-party partnerships, curated with an even greater choice of stylish and affordable clothing and footwear.
Launching exclusively online, Quiz, Pink Vanilla, Blue Vanilla, Roman, Yumi, Mela London, Where’s that From, Izabel, Brand Threads and Toe Zone, will sit alongside existing third party brands Little Mistress, JDY, In The Style, Craghoppers, Trespass, Rocket Dog, Regatta, Hush Puppies, ONLY Girls, Jack & Jones, Startrite and Tikkers, as well as Matalan’s own brands, Papaya, Et Vous, Easy, Taylor & Wright, US Athletic, Lincoln and Souluxe.
Building on its fashion portfolio, Matalan said it has carefully selected the latest brands to complement its brand, as well as its existing brand partnerships, in line with pricing and product proposition, that offer affordability as well as quality and style.
The 10 new brands will offer a wider range of sizes and styles, including plus size ranges – with even more planned to launch in the new year and spring 2024.
Matalan will also be extending choice in its Nursery & Baby, Seasonal & Outdoor and Gifting ranges, as well strengthening its bedding & home furnishing categories.
Since launching third-party brands in September last year, Matalan said it has been agile in responding to customer appetite and demand, quickly extending and adding to ranges that are performing well.
Celebrity collections such as Vogue Williams for Little Mistress and Jac Jossa, Gemma Atkinson, Stacey Solomon and Jess Millichamp for In The Style have performed particularly well, with some styles selling out within 24 hours of launching.
Matalan will also be extending its Rocket Dog boot range next year, following a strong performance in the past 12 months.
