Vans business buys up specialist broker

Colne, Lancashire based XLCR Vehicle Management a broker specialising in Light Commercial Vehicles and Business Cars, has been acquired by Global Vans.

The acquisition of XLCR, which delivers over 2,500 units annually gives Bristol-based Global Vans an increase in the volume of deliveries to over 8,000 annually which collectively generates over £100 million in gross sales.

Global Vans is backed by H2 Equity Partners and has over 15,000 customers based on well-established partnerships with leading vehicle manufacturers and finance companies, giving it access to the best deals and the widest supply availability in the market.

XLCR was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Colne, Lancashire with an additional sales office based in Southampton.

Its founders and the management team are remaining in place to continue to grow the business and to support with its integration.
