No.1 Old Hall Street

North West accountancy firm, Williamson & Croft, has signed a lease for a new office at Downing’s No.1 Old Hall Street in Liverpool, as it looks to expand its operations.

Having signed a 10-year lease, the strategic expansion marks yet another significant milestone for Williamson & Croft as it continues to grow in the Liverpool area.

The new office, situated in Liverpool’s bustling financial district, will provide sufficient space to accommodate the firm’s growth plans over the coming years. The prime location at 1 Old Hall Street is easily accessible for clients and offers excellent facilities.

Damien Loughran, Partner at Williamson & Croft, said: “We are thrilled to announce the lease of our new office in Liverpool city centre which is a testament to our firm’s commitment to the region and meeting the evolving needs of our clients.

“The fantastic location in the city’s commercial district will enhance our visibility in the region and provide a more convenient and central base for our larger team.”

The firm will take up 3,500 sq ft of space on the newly refurbished first floor.

An additional three Grade A suites will also be provided ranging between 700 sq ft and 825 sq ft. This will be the last remaining, traditional office space at No.1 Old Hall Street, ideal for smaller occupiers requiring top quality space.

Downing’s popular flexi-offices will still remain available for let, for those looking for fully inclusive rents.

John Clegg, Head of Property Management at Downing, who assisted with closing the deal, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Williamson & Croft to our thriving, business community at No.1 Old Hall Street. The firm will join a range of other professional services businesses that are making their mark in the Liverpool and North West marketplace.

“Williamson & Croft are a brand new occupier for Downing, attracted by No.1 Old Hall Street’s comprehensive internal and external refurbishment and renewal, which has elevated the building to be amongst the highest quality, sustainable and welcoming office space in the city.”

The move to the new office is scheduled for March 2024.
