Vita Group expands aviation and rail interests with German acquisition

Vita Group, the Middleton-based manufacturer of premium foam products, has concluded the acquisition of German firm, Paustian Airtex, for an undisclosed sum.

Metzo, part of The Vita Group, a supplier into the aviation and rail industry, did the deal for Paustian Airtex, an aviation business that covers all leather and textile products in the aviation industry, including seat covers, pockets, curtains, flooring or panels.

This strategic move at the beginning of 2024 reflects The Vita Group’s commitment to fortifying partnerships and expanding its capabilities.

Metzo, renowed for delivering high quality and reliable solutions. Paustian will bring enhanced cut and sew capabilities to Metzo as well as bringing a greater level of service and to offer customer additional value-added solutions, propelling the company further towards its growth objectives.

The Vita Group is working closely with Paustian Airtex’s existing customers and supplier to ensure a smooth transition.

With operational sites in Germany and Poland, this acquisition positions The Vita Group to broaden its capabilities and enhance its market presence in the aviation and rail sector.
