Still time to enter 2024 Business of the Year Awards

Janette Martin of Talos 360, CEO of the Year 2023

Today is the last day to submit your entries and be part of the North West Business of the Year Awards in 2024.

The entry deadline is today, Friday, March 15, so check out the awards website – businessoftheyearawards.co.uk/#northwest – to find out more and download the simple entry form.

The annual awards ceremony is a key event in the business calendar and recognises companies that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in their industry and continue to contribute to the North West business community.

The North West Business of the Year Awards 2024, will once again be backed by an impressive array of headline sponsors CMS, PwC, RBC Brewin Dolphin, and Robert Walters.

The awards will celebrate and honour the very best of businesses of all sizes and sectors across the North West.

In a repeat of the highly successful formula of the 2023 awards, all the winners will be selected by a rigorous judging process that will see all the companies visited by members of our judging panel, before a shortlisting process.

Each company on the shortlist will then be invited to present to the judges why they should win an award, with the winners revealed at a high-profile awards evening at The Midland, Manchester on October 10.

The North West Business of the Year Awards 2024 will be backed by headline sponsors CMS, PwC, RBC Brewin Dolphin, and Robert Walters.

Lucy Bisset, Director of Robert Walters Manchester, comments: “Over the last year the North West business community has shown remarkable resilience, continuing to leap from strength-to-strength despite less than favourable conditions. With this economic backdrop, it’s even more important to highlight and celebrate the region’s outstanding achievements with the launch of this year’s North West Business of the Year Awards.

“It’s particularly important to recognise the impact of an engaged and empowered workforce in delivering success, so we’re delighted to sponsor the ‘Employer of the Year’ category to identify the insight, strategies and daily activities that lead to employer excellence.

“We are also proud to be supporting the ‘CEO of the Year’ category again this year – as we saw in 2023, the category stands as a true testament to the incredible impact effective leadership has on a company’s overall performance.”

Emma Suchland, PwC Partner and UK Head of Private Business: “This is our second year of sponsoring these fantastic awards with TheBusinessDesk.com and we’re so pleased to be able to support the recognition of some of the finest North West businesses. As a regional business, PwC is passionate about supporting and facilitating growth in the North, and these awards demonstrate the impact that business can have on a region. As UK Head of Private Business, I’m particularly interested in shining a spotlight on Family Business. Having also sponsored the Sustainability category last year, it was great to see many local businesses forging the way on green matters with innovation and passion. I’m excited to see what this year holds and showcase the North West as one of the best regions in the UK to do business.”

Kevin Nudd, Head of Business Development, regions, CMS: “It’s been a challenging twelve months for business.  High inflation, increased borrowing costs and an increasingly turbulent geo-political climate – have all dampened business confidence, but business is resilient and there are signs that conditions are improving as we enter 2024.

“The North West is a hotbed of business innovation and is well placed to benefit from improving economic conditions.  It has weathered the last twelve months well. We look forward to seeing the best of North West business enter this year’s awards and are excited to sponsor the most important business awards in this dynamic region.”

Bradley Russell – Divisional Director – RBC Brewin Dolphin: RBC Brewin Dolphin is delighted to, once again, sponsor TheBusinessDesk.com Business of the Year Awards. It is an exciting time for the entire Northern Region at the moment and these awards help to highlight many of the area’s best businesses and the people behind them. Visiting these businesses and being a part of this process reminds us just how vibrant the region is and how lucky we are to be a part of it. We wish all the entrants the very best of luck!”
