We have built RAINMAKERS on the well-established Substack platform, making the content easily and quickly available in an unfussy and elegant interface.

We have also been supported commercially by Grant Thornton.

Dan Rosinke, national head of transaction advisory at Grant Thornton, said: “We are supporting the launch of Rainmakers across the regions. Despite the challenging market conditions, we saw some outstanding deals across the region in 2023 and an increase in the number of processes in play in the second half of the year. This, coupled with pent up supply and demand for deals and private equity with capital to deploy, is setting the scene for a more buoyant M&A landscape in 2024.”

The launch of the Rainmakers platform in March comes just before our first Rainmakers Conference to be held at The Point conferencing facilities at the Emirates Old Trafford on March 20, 2024.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.

The conference is being organised by and the partners in this event believe passionately that the jobs created, specialisms developed, and the entrepreneurs unleashed give the Rainmakers community the right to a seat at the table and a voice in the debate on the economy of the North.

The conference will be an opportunity to not only celebrate the contribution from funds raised and deals created, but also to look to the future at the challenges ahead.
