Frank Ofonagoro, former financial advisory managing director of business advisory firm Quantuma, is heading the new Manchester office of business advisory group, Opus, as partner.

Opus has opened a new office in 3 Hardman Square, Spinningfields, which it said will support the thriving North West business community.

Frank Ofonagoro has joined Opus to lead a dedicated team committed to business support, restructuring and insolvency advice, it said.

Frank brings more than 20 years of experience delivering projects in restructuring, transaction services and corporate advisory.

He is a current board member of the North West branch of the Turnaround Management Association and is committed to providing local businesses and funding institutions with tailored advice through his expertise.

He said: “I am excited to join the Opus team and head up its new Manchester office.

“I was attracted by the Opus philosophy that is centred around early engagement with clients to support business value preservation.

“At Opus Manchester, my team and I will continue to work with companies and their financial stakeholders to navigate complex business challenges or change events.”

Manchester’s local business community has shown remarkable resilience through the economic challenges of recent years, which have impacted many business operations. As a group, Opus said it is committed to finding the best options for businesses to move forward and overcome challenges.

Trevor Binyon, group partner at Opus, said: “Each business we work with has different needs and challenges throughout its evolution.

“Our aim is to bring together highly experienced partners to support business owners and directors, whatever the circumstances.

“We are delighted to have Frank head up our Manchester team. He is a model professional with in depth experience in his specialist sectors and is a great addition to Opus.”
