But the future success depends on the ability of large firms and boutique practices to offer a career pathway. This panel discussed the expectations of future leaders.

It brought together the next generation, and discussed what are their red lines? What do they want from a career in advisory and investment and how important are values in delivering that ambition?

Daniel Martin of Shawbrook said: “It’s important that we ensure that young people have a voice within your team and can structure their own set of values.”
