Lou Cordwell to speak at breakfast event in May

Join us in Manchester for a Networking Business Breakfast with Lou Cordwell OBE, Chair, GM Business Board on the 16th of May at 8.30am.

In partnership with Fieldfisher, the event will feature Lou Cordwell in an “in conversation with…” TheBusinessDesk.com’s editor Michael Taylor, followed by an opportunity to ask questions of the chair of the Greater Manchester Business Board.

As the chair of the GM Business Board she is part of the core team driving the economic strategy of the city region, and an active Angel investor, with a particular focus on female tech founders.

She has recently been appointed Professor of Innovation at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIOIR) at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), and Special Advisor to the Office of the President and Vice-Chancellor.

Her responsibilities include providing strategic guidance on innovation ecosystems to the University and contributing to the work of MIOIR and AMBS.

Alongside the day job, she is an active angel investor, with a particular focus on female tech founders.

Lou was awarded an OBE in the 2018 New Year’s Honours for services to the creative and digital economy.
