Construction commences on £6m luxury Bowdon apartments

CGI of Rosemount scheme

A luxury apartment scheme in Bowdon, South Manchester, is under way with construction partner, Skyline Construction.

The residential development, from Hardy Mills Properties, and designed by Ollier Smurthwaite Architects, will include four large, two-bedroomed single level apartments, each with its own floor and private elevator entrance, balcony and secure underground parking and one three-bedroomed town house.

Named Rosemount – this specific area of Bowdon was historically known as Rose Hill – the scheme has a GDV of £6m and is expected to be welcoming owners from summer 2025.

Steve Slater, partner of Hardy Mill Properties, said: “This site will deliver a level of luxury and grandeur that is suiting of its prestigious location on Langham and South Downs Roads in Bowdon.

“This design offers residents a super-premium quality home – with sustainable SIPS Eco Panel construction – designer fixtures and fittings and large open plan living, which is something that potential buyers have requested.”

He said the apartments are designed to be attractive to people downsizing from large, multi-level homes but still offering fantastic, sizable living spaces. But equally, with the quality and exclusivity of design, younger professionals will find this design perfect for their requirements.

He added: “The town house will offer those still wanting a more substantial property in this area a further family home with its own garden and parking.

“This location is perfect for those wanting to walk to Hale, Altrincham and Bowdon village easily. There are very few new-build homes in Bowdon, so we do expect them to be popular and have a list of interested purchasers wanting to purchase off-plan.”

Hibberts Homes has been appointed as agents for the site.
