First letting brings up to 200 jobs to Frontier Business Park

Frontier Park

The first letting at Frontier Park, Burnley has been announced with FP2 being secured by Stolle Machinery.

Stolle is a manufacturing business supplying machinery for the canning industry and will relocate into FP2 which is a 157,740 sq ft facility bringing around 200 jobs into Burnley.

It currently has two UK locations, in Carlisle and Accrington.

Frontier Business Park is a development by Monte Blackburn, which recently completed Frontier Park, Blackburn, at junction six of the M65.

The development is located immediately off junction nine of the M65 and will provide five new units from 39,000 to 158,800 sq ft. Each unit benefits from Cat A specification offices, a BREEAM very good standard rating and units include both dock level and level access loading doors.

Michael Cavannagh, of letting agents Trevor Dawson, said: “To get this pre-let away is great news with the letting being completed prior to practical completion of the unit. Stolle relocating to Frontier is fantastic news for Burnley.

“We are already in discussions with other occupiers with regard to other buildings on the business park.”

Stolle managing director, Richard Mercer, said: “We are all very excited with the plans to move to our new building in Burnley.

“It is important to us as a business to continue to support our local community and retain a workforce in the local area.

“Our new facility signals a huge commitment and financial investment to the area by our international parents.’’

Joint agents for the scheme are Trevor Dawson Chartered Surveyors and B8 Real Estate, with the Landlord being represented by Freeths in respect of the legals.
