Manchester accountancy firm, TR Forensic Accountants, has expanded into South Asia with 50 new hires following  the creation of a new financial division.

The firm has recruited 50 data analysts specialising in guiding companies on investment decisions and managing financial projects as part of an affordability campaign to secure redress for victims of financial mis-selling.

Most of the recruits will be based at a new site in the city of Lahore, Pakistan, with a few based in the small town of Okara, boosting the team’s existing headcount in Manchester and the Middle East.

Originally from Okara, Pakistan, founder and CEO, Tanzeel Rehman, expressed his pride in seeing his company continue to grow: “Going global has been fantastic for us as a business, which was always something I wanted to do,” he said.

“By hiring additional staff in Pakistan, we have generated more opportunities for people in the region. Given it was the country I was born in, it makes me feel even more proud.

“Our new financial mis-selling division will allow us to provide specialised services and support to those impacted, enhancing our overall portfolio.”

A year after its launch in 2022 the firm signed 17 clients, and this has now more than trebled to 56 as its journey from local roots to global expansion continues.

TR Forensic Accountants has expanded to Oman and Pakistan, and now aims to continue its growth strategy.
