Social Darts brand Flight Club opens latest location with Liverpool unveiling

Flight Club Liverpool

A new Flight Club venue formally opens in Liverpool today (August 23) in the latest expansion by London-based leisure group, Red Engine.

Located at retail site Liverpool One, overlooking Chavasse Park, Flight Club Liverpool is set over two floors and is the group’s 13th UK venue.

With a capacity for up to 400 people, it boasts two bars, a ground-floor outdoor terrace and first-floor balcony overlooking the park, 16 semi-private oche areas and a mezzanine space overlooking all the action in the bar below.

The venue features a menu of cocktails, DJ sets and bench sessions alongside Social Darts.

Flight Club said it has given darts a serious makeover with interactive, immersive games and tech that automatically scores by tracking every dart thrown with super-smart camera technology.

The cameras also throw out live-action replays on screen throughout the game and later deliver them to players’ inboxes to relive all the action.

Social Darts is made for group get-togethers and 12 people can play at one oche, or for bigger groups of up to 350, multiple oches can be connected for a Social Darts showdown.

There are six games to choose from, suitable for anyone to play, whether a darts sniper or a total beginner.

CEO and Flight Club co-founder, Steve Moore, said: “For years we’ve been eyeing up Liverpool as the perfect place for Flight Club.

“There’s nothing we love more than an epic night out and that’s something both Liverpool and Flight Club always deliver on, so it feels like a match made in heaven.”

He added: “This new venue has been months in the making to get every detail just right. We’re so excited that the time has finally come for us to welcome the people of Liverpool inside and we can’t wait to kick off the party.”

Rob Deacon, Director of Asset Management at Liverpool One owner, Grosvenor, said: “The opening of Flight Club has been hotly anticipated since we announced its signing last year, and the new space more than delivers the high calibre and immense scale of concept that has become synonymous with Liverpool One.

“It is no surprise that Liverpool has been named the UK’s most sociable city, and the addition of Flight Club to our leading entertainment line-up only adds to that.”
