Multimillion-pound upgrade contract awarded by Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport has awarded a further multimillion-pound contract to United Living as part of works on the fuel pipework infrastructure for its Terminal 2 upgrade.
Kent-based United Living, a provider of infrastructure, affordable housing, property services and telecoms, has a North West office in Warrington.
Its United Living Infrastructure Services subsidiary will carry out the Terminal 2 contract.
The Manchester Airport Storage and Hydrant Company (MASHCo) project is collaborating with Manchester Airport to facilitate the expansion of the new Pier which will provide new boarding gates and flexible aircraft stands at Pier 2.
The project includes installing a hydrant main which allows the fuelling of aircraft on relevant stands.
These installations will integrate with the existing pipeline recently installed by ULIS at the airport.
The work is part of the overall expansion of Terminal 2 by Manchester Airport Group (MAG), detailed as its £1.3bn Transformation Programme.
