Seneca Property expands portfolio with office building acquisition

Real estate investor, Haydock-based Seneca Property, has further bolstered its portfolio with the acquisition of The Place, a prestigious office building strategically located in the heart of Maidenhead town centre.
The property was marketed at an asking price of £6m, with ACRE Capital acting as advisor to the seller, BlackRock.
The Place, a Grade A workspace spanning 27,000 sq ft, is currently home to a diverse range of software and technology companies.
Seneca says this acquisition underscores its unwavering commitment to acquiring high quality assets in key UK locations.
The company’s strategic focus on sustainable property investment and value creation for its stakeholders will play a pivotal role in unlocking the full potential of The Place, it says.
Jeff Morton, CEO of Seneca Property, said: “This acquisition demonstrates our expertise in identifying prime assets with strong growth potential.
“We are confident in our ability to increase the value of The Place through our proactive management strategy.
“We remain actively seeking similar investment opportunities that allow us to deliver swift transactions and certainty for sellers.”
Chris Bullough, Seneca Property MD, said: “There is continued strong demand for high quality office space in prime locations like Maidenhead.
“We look forward to collaborating with The Place’s occupiers to create an even better working environment.”
