Airline and holidays operator reveals earliest ever summer programme

Airline and holidays operator, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, have launched their 2026 summer programme from Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA).

They said they have unveiled their programmes earlier than ever before, due to strong demand from holidaymakers.

The 2026 programme offers a choice of 55 sun and leisure destinations from Manchester and  23 sunny hotspots from Liverpool.

More than 3.9 million airline seats have gone on sale from Manchester, and 700,000 from Liverpool.

During peak periods, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate more than 350 departing weekly flights from Manchester, and almost 70 from LJLA.

To meet with customer demand at Manchester the companies have increased capacity to nine popular sunshine destinations, with additional flights operating to Lanzarote, Malaga, Alicante, Antalya, Menorca, Malta, Barcelona, Salerno and Jerez during Summer 2026.

The airline will base an extra aircraft at Manchester to support the expanded programme, taking the total to 26.

To support its Liverpool progtramme, which will mark the airline and tour operator’s third summer of operation from the airport, Jet2.com will operate five-based aircraft from the airport in summer 2026.
