Simon Lees-Jones RIP (1966 – 2024)

William Lees-Jones the managing director of JW Lees has shared the sad news that his brother Simon has died after battling cancer.
A board director of the family owned brewer and hospitality business, Simon tragically passed away yesterday afternoon.
William said: “Cancer is so cruel and, even though Simon received the very best treatment and support at The Christie, it was not to be.”
“It is with deepest sadness we announce the death of Si Lees-Jones who died peacefully in his sleep at home on 8th October 2024, aged 58, surrounded by his family.
“Much loved and loving husband of Chrissy, adored father of Lara and Tess, dear son of Richard and the late Di, and treasured brother and brother-in-law to William and Ariel, Anna and Rob and Alec and Katie and son-in-law to Jo and the late John Pickering.
“Si was a dear friend to so many and he inspired and touched the hearts of us all.
“Si’s passion for life was unbridled and he channelled that into his love of family and friends who will forever treasure happy and hilarious memories of maverick fun.
“He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. We’ll all miss him and we’re devastated.”
His funeral will be on Friday 1st November 2024 at St Boniface Church, Bunbury, Cheshire with final details to be confirmed shortly.
