Abigail Walsh

Cerberus Receivables Management’s Abigail Walsh has been promoted to Receivables Executive after 15 months with the business, having demonstrated the skill and confidence needed for the new role.

CRM is a Salford-based UK debt collection and receivables management company which helps businesses, lenders and restructuring specialists to recover debt in both trading and distressed situations.

Abigail will continue to study alongside her new role, working towards the UK Invoice Finance Foundation Diploma. CRM will provide in-house training and development opportunities, with sessions in client reporting and populating case strategies.

She said: “I’m excited about my future at CRM. The team has been incredibly

supportive throughout my time here and I know they’ll support me in tackling the

challenges that will be presented by the new role.”

Eddie Booth

PAS NW, a provider of civil engineering and construction services in the North West, has boosted its senior leadership team with the appointment of civils industry leaders Eddie Booth and Dave Andrews.

The Warrington-based business said it has moved quickly to snap up the highly experienced duo following a host of new site wins with some of the most reputable house builders in the country.

With more than 36 years in the construction industry, Eddie Booth joins PAS as Commercial Director. His impressive career spans a range of roles including Tilbury Douglas and Matthews & Leigh, where he spent 13 years honing his expertise in commercial and operational functions.

Fraser Linaker, Managing Director of PAS, said: “Eddie brings brilliant experience to our team, having worked on some of the largest and most complex civil engineering projects in the UK.”

Dave Andrews

Dave Andrews brings a wealth of experience in managing large-scale civil engineering projects.

Dave has a 36-year track record with well known firms such as M&J Evans and Friels. In these roles, he not only delivered multimillion-pound projects but also rose through the ranks to become a Contracts Manager and a Director in PLC businesses – eventually setting up and running groundworks operations across the country.

He said: “The vision for PAS is clear, and we are already seeing it come to life. I’m excited to be part of a dynamic team that’s committed to delivering excellence.”

Brad Duncan

Stephensons, a Stockport catering equipment supplier since 1868, has promoted Brad Duncan to Customer Experience Director.

With more than two decades of experience, Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this critical role, where he will be spearheading a diverse range of customer engagement initiatives, with the backing of a dedicated department.

In preparation for his new position, Brad received executive mentorship to build on his leadership skills. Stephensons’s investment in employee training and nurturing internal talent is a company-wide focus. This includes in depth training for its customer service teams and sales reps, allowing them to become product experts who can advise customers effectively.

Brad said: “I’m excited to take on this new challenge and oversee the full spectrum of our customer interactions. ”

His journey with Stephensons began in 1998 when he took on a part-time role in the packing team while he was studying.

Katerina Woodcock

Manchester-based Avensure has launched a new Immigration Service to support clients in an increasingly complex policy environment.

It has appointed Business Immigration Solicitor, Katerina Woodcock, from Latitude Law, who will work alongside employment law solicitor Neil Gouldson.

A specialist in corporate immigration, Katerina will advise on elements including Home Office applications for sponsor licenses and right to work checks.

Leigh Gough

As part of its global expansion, Manchester-based B2B lead generation agency, Flowd, has appointed Leigh Gough as Managing Director. This announcement coincides with the company’s milestone opening of its first US office in New York and reflects its broader commitment to scaling operations, it said.

Gough, a growth-oriented leader with more than 15 years of experience in commercial development, will oversee Flowd’s UK operations and provide strategic input into the company’s ambitious expansion efforts.

With a decade of experience in performance marketing, Gough joins Flowd after a successful stint at Leads.io where he scaled their North American entity to $40m in revenue within six years.

Charles Peter

A North West-based training provider, which offers online courses to legal professionals across the UK, has announced a new leadership team to mark its 25 th anniversary.

Datalaw, whose head office is in Liverpool, has announced the company’s founder, Charles Peter, as the new CEO with commercial director, Sean Brogan, stepping up to the role of managing director.

The move marks a period of growth for the firm which, in the past year, has seen 16 new recruits to the team and 150 new apprentices signed up to the graduate solicitor apprenticeship.

Charles Peter said: “It’s been a hugely successful time for the business culminating in the award of a “Good” rating from Ofsted following an inspection earlier this year.

Marcus Pollitt welcomes the new graduates, apprentices and placement students

Global professional services firm, Aon, has welcomed its latest cohort of new, diverse early careers talent to its office in Manchester with the arrival of two apprentices, one placement year student, and four recent graduates.

The new team members will work across a range of functional areas, including client management and actuarial consulting, and as part of Aon’s Early Careers Programme will gain meaningful work experience and benefit from opportunities to build professional skills through hands-on learning.

All the trainees, regardless of the pathway they’re following, will be nurtured to become the next generation of leaders.

Full-service Lancashire creative and digital marketing agency, Media Village, has promoted Michael Lambert as its new managing director. 

Michael previously occupied the role of operations director at Media Village and will lead the agency’s management team in delivering a new agency growth programme.

Media Village’s founder, Steve Shread, will transition to the role of chairman, focusing on supporting Michael and the management team, while remaining on the board. 

Employing 24-staff, Media Village is based in Altham, Lancashire, and was established in 1995.
Michael said: “Working alongside Steve has been an incredible experience, and he should be immensely proud of what he’s built. I’m just as proud to have the opportunity to lead Media Village into this exciting new chapter.”

Michael joined in 1999 as an apprentice and has progressed through the agency to operations manager and then to operations director, becoming a company director in 2008.

Northern Valve and Fitting Company Limited (NVFCL), based in Leigh, has boosted its senior leadership team by appointing three experts with more than 80 years of combined experience in the oil, gas and hydrogen industries.

Mitchell Brunt has been appointed as commercial director for clean energy, Andrew Marsh as technical director for sales and training, and Kevin Walker as UK technical sales manager.

The appointments follow the business’s relocation, earlier this year, to its new 12,000 sq ft UK headquarters at Moss Industrial Estate in Leigh. The company also has two sales offices in Scotland and Wales and plans to open a new sales office in Northern Ireland next year.

Mitchell Brunt is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers and has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas, utilities, and clean energy markets. 

Andrew Marsh has a solid track record in project engineering and process development. He has also gained valuable experience within the oil industry and in fluid system containment. 

Kevin Walker brings more than 30 years of technical and project management experience in various UK and overseas roles. For the past 10 years, Kevin has specialised in fluid systems across industries, including clean energy, power generation, oil and gas, research and development, and transportation. 

Joint chief executives at NVFCL, Patrick Drury and Darrell Jones, acquired the business in 2018. 

Patrick Drury said: “This is a very exciting time for us, and these are crucial appointments that have brought a huge amount of technical knowledge and expertise in-house. Embedding this high level of talent at the top of the business will also ensure that our customers have access to the most technically competent sales team.”

Expanding North West law firm, CG, has added Senior Associate, Victoria Brown, to its growing Corporate team.

With more than seven years of experience, having qualified in 2017, Victoria honed her expertise at Gateleys plc in Manchester.

Victoria, who trained at prominent regional firm Ward Hadaway, is originally from Chorley, and said: “Since the firm was established, I’ve admired how CG seemed to operate differently from other law firms, focusing on what clients need rather than the traditional billable hours approach. I’m really pleased to be part of a firm that puts clients first.”

Carlisle-based H&H Group has appointed Mark Johnson as Chief Operating Officer (COO), a newly created role within the company, effective from November 1.

Currently Managing Director of the group’s H&H Land & Estates business, Mark brings many years of senior leadership experience in significant businesses to his new appointment. In his new role, Mark will support the operational management of all business divisions within H&H Group. 

H&H Land & Estates Director, Tim Sedgewick, steps up to the role of Managing Director for the group’s land agency and property business. Tim has been a pivotal member of the company’s leadership team and brings with him more than a decade of expertise in property advice, development, and land agency. 

Chief executive, Richard Rankin, said; “The creation of the COO role is an exciting and forward thinking development for the group, and Mark is perfect for this position.”

As Managing Director, Tim Sedgewick, will be responsible for the direct day-to-day running of the business, growing its portfolio and profile and maximising opportunities.
