A delegation of 130 Southeast Asian investors will descend on Manchester, London and Birmingham in the coming weeks to view available investment opportunities and has committed to support Andy Burnham’s Mayor’s Charity.

The group of high-net-worth individuals is being hosted by Germaine Chow, founder of Crestbrick PTE Ltd, a Singapore-headquartered real estate agency that has already committed to purchasing 656 properties across the three cities.

With ambitions to double its UK investment from £200m to £400m, the firm, established by investors for investors, is keen to align its customers with the synergy it feels for the UK’s wider aims for housing & prosperity and wants to play its part in supporting the UK economy.

Chow, a rising star in global real estate investment, has hosted the trip several times before and is excited by the stature and reputation that property hotspots like Manchester, Birmingham and London are achieving worldwide.

Crestbrick operates in the UK, New Zealand, Malaysia and Bali and aims to provide “a holistic property investment service” beyond simply a transaction.

“Since inception, we have assisted hundreds of investors with their purchase of properties and this, alongside accompanying financial literacy support through sister business, I Quadrant, we’ve empowered them to grow their wealth,” she said.

“The UK has a diverse and attractive property portfolio and the cities we’re visiting are abuzz with development. I want to show people first-hand what their investment can do, not only for them and their families, but for the local community in terms of supporting future endeavours. For example, we’re looking forward to supporting the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity.

“I want to be very clear that this isn’t a window-shopping exercise; these are serious investors who want to play their part in encouraging future development and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s new since my last visit”.

The delegation’s UK visit will conclude with a large-scale event at Manchester’s Imperial War Museum on Saturday 7 December 2024, bringing together the city’s property and investment community.

It will be a ‘Top Gun’-themed event in a nod to the venue’s aviation exhibits. On the night, Crestbrick will cement its support of the local community by presenting a formal donation to the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity.
