The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), advised by Savills, has agreed a new 10-year lease on 6,500 sq ft at The Lincoln in Manchester from M&G.

It has relocated from its long-term home in Oxford Court, in the heart of Manchester.

The Lincoln is BREEAM Excellent and EPC A rated and benefits from onsite amenities including electric car charging points, cycle storage, high quality changing facilities and locker storage, fully equipped gym and spin studio.

Located on Brazennose Street, the prime office building is surrounded by a number of bars, restaurants, retail and hotels.

Situated on the newly generated square between Spinningfields and Albert Square, The Lincoln boasts one of the most prominent pitches in Manchester.

Andrew Cooke, associate director, tenant representation, Savills Manchester, said: “ Working with The PFA over the past 12 months has been a fascinating project to be involved with.

“The office requirement and design brief could not be further from what they have historically been accustomed to and it’s great to see how the mindset of the occupier has evolved to adapt to current working practices. I have no doubt that they will be incredibly happy in their new home.”

He added: “With flexible, multi-functional areas, we are now equipped to host events, deliver educational programmes, and provide a hub for our members to engage with us directly.

Mills & Reeve provided the PFA with legal advice in respect of the transaction, and Emily Revel, senior associate within the real estate team said: “Given the long standing relationship between Mills & Reeve and the PFA, it was a real pleasure to assist them with their relocation to their new office at the Lincoln – which looks to be a perfect fit for their future plans.”
