Female leadership app seeks corporate investment to fund further research

Gemma Krysko

A new app designed to empower women in business has been launched by Gemma Krysko, founder of global communications agency We Are Indigo.

The music, culture and hospitality specialist has created Queens of Tomorrow, an innovative app-based platform aimed at giving women confidence, resilience, and skills to excel in challenging business environments.

And having now secured an academic partner, she is seeking investment from corporate businesses in a groundbreaking study to explore self-affirmation’s impact on self-doubt and fulfilment for women in business, leveraging the subscribers to the Queens of Tomorrow community.

Manchester-based Krysko said by investing in the research businesses can also champion personal growth, mental wellness, and women’s leadership.

Her message to potential partners says: “I’m writing to invite you to join an extraordinary opportunity to become a part of history—a modern suffragette movement from Manchester, advancing empowerment and self-belief for women through pioneering research.”

The community-driven app is now available to the public. But Krysko said: “Queens of Tomorrow is more than an app; it’s a movement. The platform equips women to break barriers and lead in business by combining peer support, expert guidance, and actionable tools. The app offers an inclusive space for members to share experiences, gain insights, and foster meaningful connections.”

The app subscription is £6.99 per month. It grants members access to in-person events across Europe, a personalised behavioural reprogramming tool, a positive news feed to counteract doom-scrolling, a discussion forum, and member-to-member networking.

Citing academic research into self-affirmation from a 2019 study by Professor Lewina Lee, an associate professor of psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine, Kyrsko said raising levels of optimism may promote longevity and healthy ageing.

Krysko added, “When you give yourself a positive command and act, you establish a neural pattern. Repeating this process over time disqualifies negative beliefs and reinforces positive behaviours. Eventually, these actions become automatic responses, allowing you to approach challenges with a mindset toward success.”
